About the Journal
Jama'a is a Hebrew-language interdisciplinary journal of Middle East studies. It is published once a year by the Department of Middle East Studies and the Chaim Herzog Center for Middle East Studies and Diplomacy at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. The Journal debuted in 1998, and is jointly edited by graduate students and faculty. Recognized by the Israel Council for Higher Education as a peer-reviewed journal, Jama'a publishes articles by research students and leading scholars following a rigorous review process.
